We are seeking a compassionate, experienced Health & Wellness Director to lead our clinical services and wellness programming. In this key leadership role, you will collaborate closely with clinical staff, residents, families, and community partners to ensure a high standard of resident care, wellness, safety, and satisfaction. You’ll help shape and sustain an environment where residents thrive physically, emotionally, and socially. (FT 8-5p M-F including MOD rotation schedule/flexing to see afternoon and night shift as necessary/and evening care conferences w/ families as necessary/nurse call phone commitment for clinical emergencies, etc.)
Lead all clinical operations in compliance with state regulations and Pegasus Senior Living standards
Oversee resident wellness and memory care programming using a person-centered model, partnering with families and staff to assess needs and implement individualized plans
Conduct pre-move-in screenings and ongoing care reviews to ensure residents are appropriately supported
Coordinate staff training, education, and dementia-care best practices; lead regular staff meetings and family education sessions(
Participate in resident/family conferences and advocate for residents’ health needs as well as facilitate counseling or referrals when needed
Lead or support resident quality indicator tracking and reporting, including regulatory compliance and documentation
Serve as a visible, accessible leader who models servant leadership, fosters staff engagement, and promotes open communication with residents, families, and team members
Valid LPN, LVN, or RN license in good standing
Ideally 5+ years of experience in senior living, memory care, or long-term care settings, including leadership or supervisory roles
Strong knowledge of geriatric care standards, infection control, and safety regulations
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and staff development skills
A genuine passion for serving older adults and working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
